Critical Safety Warning
Do NOT use an impact gun (rattle gun) to do the final tightening. Overtightening causes: 1) Warped brake discs (shuddering), 2) Stretched studs, 3) Cracked alloy wheel seats. Always torque by hand in a Star Pattern.
1Tightening Sequence

Why are correct torque settings detailed?
Modern Mercedes-Benz alloy wheels are sensitive to uneven clamping force. Overtightening can stretch the wheel studs (leading to failure) or warp the brake rotors. Undertightening is obviously dangerous. Speedline recommends checking torque after 50km of driving.
