Fitting a narrower tyre onto a wider rim (e.g., 205 width on a 9J rim).
Deep Dive
Stretching causes the sidewall to slope inwards from the rim edge to the tread. Stance enthusiasts do this to fit wide wheels under stock fenders without rubbing. It exposes the rim edge to damage and can be dangerous if extreme.
