Component Term
Spigot Ring
A plastic or aluminium ring used to close the gap between a wheel's center bore and the vehicle's hub.
Deep Dive
Aftermarket wheels are often made with a large center bore (e.g., 73.1mm) to fit many cars. Spigot rings adapt this size down to your specific car (e.g., 57.1mm for VW). Missing spigot rings are the #1 cause of wheel vibration after fitting new mags.
