Buckle
A deformation in the barrel of the wheel, usually caused by potholes.
Deep Dive
A buckle makes the wheel "egg-shaped" rather than round. This causes severe vibration in the steering wheel or seat, usually at speeds between 80-120km/h. Buckles must be repaired using a hydraulic straightening machine to prevent tyre uneven wear and further suspension damage.
